Hello! I am SO excited about starting this. My mom recently posted an article on her Facebook feed about a 365 Grateful Project. After reading the article, I started noticing more around me that I was grateful for. It made me more aware. I thought, “if I were doing that project, I would take a picture of that!”. I soon decided I wanted to do a project of my own. It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day and forget to “stop and smell the roses”. This particular lady said it made her closer to her husband. That instead of concentrating on everything he wasn’t doing, she became more aware of all the little things he did do for her. I’m a believer in the power of positive thinking and feel that my life could definitely use a little more of it. When I mentioned to my mom the powerful message I got from the article and that I wanted to do a project of my own, she said that a few of her other friends said they wanted to do the same thing. I invite you to join us! I would LOVE to see all the things we are grateful for. Be sure to post on instagram or Facebook and give credit to the owner of this project with a #365grateful tag.
Well, as this year is coming to an end and I decided to ignored my blog long enough, I have been doing some house cleaning on my site. I think I might’ve made it 2 weeks doing this project. So sad, but true! It was such a wonderful thought, but not something I could keep up with. This year I’m going to try to incorporate it into a monthly compilation instead of a daily thing.
