In case you’ve been living under a rock, let me inform you that Instant Pots are all the rage these days. I actually got mine about a year ago and it overwhelmed me so much, I only made one thing in it and then it sat in my cabinet until recently. I dusted it off and decided to try to make “boiled” eggs in it after seeing a post on Facebook about how great they peel. Recently while trying to peel eggs during the holidays for deviled eggs, I loudly announced they were going to lead me to cuss! Luckily the hubster came to my rescue. I despise peeling eggs when they come off in chunks and before you know it, half your egg is in the trash.
If you’ve ever been in the same predicament, I’m here to tell you, this is the BEST way to make boiled eggs! They peel easily EVERY TIME!
Instant Pot Boiled Eggs
Place the basket that came with your Instant Pot in the container.
Place as many eggs in the basket as you need. I’ve heard many people say they placed as many eggs in there as they needed without worry about it being too many and they turned out fine.
Put about 1 cup water in the pot and close the lid.
Close the vent.
Press the Steam button on high pressure for 5 minutes.
When finished, quick release to vent and immediately put in an ice bath.
Enjoy your perfectly peeled eggs!
